Hence, aging tests have gained increasing attention in industries such as rubber, plastics, paints, petrochemicals, automobiles and textiles. There are numerous climatic environmental factors, including solar radiation, temperature, humidity, rainfall, condensation, harmful gases and dust. Evaluating material properties merely through tests based on a single environmental factor is far from comprehensive. This device is applicable to accelerated aging tests via light and water exposure to predict the relative durability of non-metallic materials such as paints, coatings and plastics. It is especially suitable for observing the physical property deterioration of highly durable materials, including gloss reduction, haze formation, strength decline, chalking, cracking, blistering, embrittlement and discoloration.
