Fix the battery between rigid pressure plates, and apply controllable pressure via a servo motor-driven indenter until the battery deforms or the set force value is reached. Real-time changes in battery voltage and temperature are monitored throughout the process to simulate the failure behavior of batteries under external extrusion force.
Use steel needles with specified diameters (optional: φ3~φ10mm) to penetrate the battery cell at a set speed, simulate the internal short circuit scenario of the battery, and monitor thermal runaway risks and safety performance.
